Due to the frequent use of high concentration alcohol disinfectant spray and alcohol gel hand washing liquid for many times, many medical staffs have "alcohol hand" phenomenon, such as dryness, skin rash, dry crack and even allergy. Recently, the new material of matrine coconut oleic acid ionic liquid developed by Zhang Jiaheng, Professor of material science and Engineering College of Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), has been prepared into a killing product and put into the front-line epidemic prevention work. It provides a mild "protective film" for the hands of medical staff, so as to avoid the trouble of "alcohol hand".

"The medical staff are people who race against the virus at the same time. The" alcohol hand "in the epidemic report is admirable and worrying When Zhang Jiaheng learned about the situation of "alcohol hand", he thought that the new material of matrine coconut oleic acid ionic liquid developed by the research group might be able to repair the "alcohol hand", so he immediately took action. On January 28, the fourth day of the new year, Zhang Jiaheng discussed with the research group the possibility of developing killing products, understood the demand of killing products in Guangdong Province, Shenzhen City and key areas of epidemic prevention and control, and contacted the cooperative enterprises to mass produce matrine coconut oleic acid ionic liquid, so as to speed up the production of killing products with disinfection, bacteriostasis and skin care and moisturizing effects.

"At present, the production and use of new materials must not be careless." Zhang Jiaheng said that the Matrine coconut oleic acid ionic liquid could be put into production quickly and put into the first-line epidemic prevention work, which benefited from the long-term and solid research foundation of the research group. "The new material is a liquid ionic compound prepared from matrine, an extract of Sophora flavescens, as a cationic precursor and a bio based coconut oil fatty acid as an anion precursor. Matrine, which has antiviral, antitumor and antiallergic effects, and coconut oleic acid, which has antibacterial and moisturizing effects, is a "strong combination". The disinfection and antibacterial products developed with Matrine as raw materials have successfully passed the microbial challenge test

Materials donated by Zhang Jiaheng and cooperative enterprises

On February 5, the first batch of killing products developed by the research group was officially donated to the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Zhongshan University in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. Up to now, Zhang Jiaheng and the cooperative enterprise have donated more than 10000 disinfection sticks to Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Huazhong University of science and technology in Wuhan City, central War Zone General Hospital (Hankou hospital district), Yuedong hospital, the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat sen University, the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Zhongshan University, Taoyuan Street Office of Shenzhen City, the Red Cross Society of Shaoguan City, the village committee of Shijing village in Heyuan City, and the Management Committee of Zhuhai high tech Zone Antibacterial ionic liquid products and 2000 kg disinfection raw material solution.

It is reported that novel coronavirus pneumonia, which is based on the recommendations of front-line medical staff in key areas such as Wuhan, has been developed and synthesized by Zhang Jiaheng research group. It has been used to prepare raw materials for the treatment of new crown pneumonia, such as matrine gallate and ionic salts. If they can pass the "layer by layer assessment", these new compounds will be used in clinical treatment research.
